Effectively Promote Your Brand At An Iqpc Conference
At an IPQC conference, you have a captive audience of people who have every reason
to be interested in your brand and many who are in a position to come to you for products or services. The question is, how you tap into that rich resource. There are two possible way to do it. You can pay for a booth and display your company, products, or even services where people can stop by and you can have access to them one on one.
The other is to present yourself in such a way as an attendee that you will be noticed and will have an opportunity to make your brand known and recognized. Dont be obnoxious; you want the impression to be a favorable one.
Preparation for Communicating Your Brand
You need to put your finger on the distinct quality that makes your company unique, that sets it apart from the competition. If you havent done that yet, this is where you begin. Choose only one quality. Two are too many.
Your brand should announce clearly what your service or product is about. It should communicate your reputation and your uniqueness. Once this is done, you need to develop ways to communicate your brand to consumers.
First of all, you need a logo that is memorable. The Nike checkmark is a good example. Surely everyone who has a television set has a knee-jerk reaction when they see that check mark. Follow Nikes example and get yourself a distinctive logo.
Also, you need a tagline that says it all. A good example is Coca Colas The Real Thing. For your business, make sure your tagline is meaningful to consumers. The benefit to the consumer should be the focus.
Ways to Promote Your Brand
One good way that works is to give away something that is worthwhile, useful, will be used, and has your logo and tagline on it. You can do this in your booth if you choose that route or give it to fellow attendees at the seminar. You want something that will be displayed so as many people as possible will see it.
Promote interactivity. You could run a contest with the winner announced in the closing session of the seminar. Some examples: recommendations for a sub-tagline; recommendations for a new product; naming a new product.
Make certain that anyone who meets you sees your logo. Wear it as a pin on your coat, perhaps, or as a badge. Make certain your business cards represent your brand effectively, and hand them out freely.
If you choose to purchase booth space, make certain your logo and brand are announced dramatically in the booth. A big, colorful banner is a good way to go. A television set with constant commercials on your business is helpful. Become an effective ambassador. Talk to visitors to your booth and pass out your business cards and your freebies.
