Eyes are like windows that show us the views of outer world and help us understand what is there in from of us. Eyes are the very sensitive part of our body that needs ample care. A body without eyes would be like living in a dark room helplessly. So eyes plays great role in everyone's life. To protect our eyes we need proper guidance, which should be followed strictly. Cataract is the common problem people had faced and are still facing. Ignoring this problem can lead to poor vision and even blindness. However, for minor cataract problem, it can be removed by undergoing minor operation. In most of the cases cataract has been brutal and have taken many people's vision. So if you are suffering from cataract problem than make sure you treat it on time as ignoring this can get you into great trouble. The lens of the eyes are located just behind the iris so when cataract attacks the eyes, they affect the lens and causes blurred vision. Lens of the eyes are the main door that collect the needed amount of light and pass it down to retina, which gives us the clear pictures we are looking at.

The causes of cataract are not clearly known however the impact of it is very dangerous. There are few symptoms that can help people understand that there is some cataract attack in their eyes. When cataract attacks the eyes, the vision is blurred and it continues heavier as the time passes by. Haloes may appear when looking at light in a circular form. People with cataract problem may get dazzled easily under bright light. This will also affect the sense of differentiating colors and color blindness may occur. However, these problems may not disappear easily and the only way out are by taking precaution. Therefore, prevention is necessary and this could be done by visiting optician for regular checkups.

The reason behind cataract in people is by their progressing age. As the age progresses in people, the eyes start getting older due to which cloudiness in eyes starts forming. However cataract is a natural problem for those attending older age and it has been found out that if all the people had enough life span than we all would have suffered from the same disease. Nowadays people attending 50 to 60 years are suffering from cataract problems and it is obvious for those who had already crossed 60 years. However that life span of people have reduced a little and most of the people live for about 60 years so we hear little about cataract problem in people.

Diabetes is the other condition that usually gives cataract problem and there are few drugs like steroids, which is also highly responsible for causing cataract in people. When cataract is developed by diabetes and steroids, it has no age limits as this may develop on anyone and at any time.

The most easy and the valuable suggestion for treating cataract is to take good care of eyes and to go under cataract operation.
