Electricity is operated by a micro-hydro system and the lodge recycles it own waste, runs its own composting system, treats waste waters, and takes part in local reforestation programmes on the peninsula.

Brides and grooms and their guests can enjoy a wide range of activities during destination weddings in Costa Rica including surfing, swimming in warm lagoons, waterfall rappelling, bird watching, horseback riding, kayaking, tree climbing, yoga classes, and guided hikes in the magnificent untouched rainforest via the extensive trail system.
