Electronic Cigarette 3D - A Hands on E Smoking Experience

As a non smoker writing about electronic cigarettes, I am sure some people would question my qualifications, so to speak, regarding the subject. Very fair and valid point I would agree. So, what else could I do, to give any doubters an extra level of assurance of my genuine interest in e-cigs and e-smoking, or "vaping" as it is becoming commonly known?

Some people may think what I am about to reveal is a crazy, silly level of commitment to the cause and they may indeed be right but I thought it was about time I sampled an e cigarette for myself, so I set about ordering one from one of the big hitters in the business of distributing e-smoking products and e-liquid.

When my order arrived in the mail, I have to confess I was a little excited, though this probably had more to do with the fact that I love receiving cool new things in the post than this actually being some sort of smoking device! I carefully opened up the parcel to discover an immaculately presented set of items. Let me emphasise this was a seriously professional looking product. Well packaged, shiny and attractive, and not a hint of anything amateur.

A few minutes later and the contents of the package were strewn across my desk as I examined all the little bits and pieces. Battery Check, Atomiser Check, Battery/Atomiser Cover Check, USB Charger Check, 10ml bottle of Tobacco flavour e liquid Check, and 3 refill cartridges Check.

Where to begin? Where to start? Thankfully, the enclosed instructions are relatively clear and straight forward and within five or ten carefully constructing minutes (much quicker than this once you know what you are doing!) the brand new e cigarette was fully assembled and ready to go. I had chosen black as my colour of choice, so it didn't look particularly like a tobacco cigarette, especially given that it had a pen like appearance in shape. So there would be little confusing this and a regular cigarette.

So, this was it, the moment of truth, a non smoker attempting to try an e-cig to show his commitment to writing about the product with a modicum of authority. My wife (an ex-smoker) watched on with great interest as I put the device to my mouth and "inhaled"! A moment later, coughing and spluttering (well what did you really expect?) I knew that e-smoking wasn't for me! However, a few quick inhalations by my wife and she confirmed this was the real deal! And, I can reassure any cynics out there that my wife left it at that and hasn't started smoking again!
