After the public smoking ban in many parts of the world, pubs and bars have gone out of their way to cater for smokers, going to great lengths to provide outdoor smoking areas for those still craving thier cigarettes. After all, imagine the potential business that would be lost if these facilities were not provided. As helpful as these facilities may be, there is still no denying that most smokers would relish a return to the bar to light up and avoid the bitter cold weather and pouring rain during the winter months especially. Whilst the non smoker rejoices in a smoke free environment, the smoker curses his/her luck and wishes there was a better solution. Could the electronic cigarette be once such solution? It appears that the electronic cigarette strikes the first blow in the battle of the cigarettes. Being able to smoke in public places gives it the first home run of the series.
