Electronic Cigarettes Alternative To Traditional Cigarettes

The new wave of smoking for those that enjoy it is called electronic cigarettes

. These devices are the newest products on the market that are not like ordinary cigarettes that you light up and smoke. They are battery powered and as regular cigarettes you get the nicotine that your body craves.

Like cigarettes sold in the drug stores, the e-cigarette gives the user the nicotine desired, but, it also gives a nice flavor just like you would find in a pack of traditional cigarettes. The one benefit, it that it does not fill a room with second hand smoke that, in some cases, bothers people who don't smoke.

Just by looking at it, you would think that the electronic cigarette was an ordinary cigarette. In fact, it is quite different. These products are not just made into cigarettes, they are also made to look like pipes, and cigars. Some are even made to look like everyday household ball point pens that fit right in your front pocket. This is an added benefit to someone who want and need their nicotine, but wants no one to notice. This is called a pen style electronic cigarette.

Ordinary cigarettes are used and thrown away creating litter and trash excess. This does not happen for the new wave of smoking with electronic cigarettes. You can get disposable ones, and they are less expensive, but, you can buy reusable parts to replace the used ones with more expensive models.

Some of the models have a sensor included in them. What this sensor does is to sense the amount of air being drawn through it and that sensor turns on a heating element that takes the nicotine solution, that is held in the mouthpiece of the cigarette, and vaporizes it. This feature can only be found on automatic models. There are other models called manual models that do not sense the amount of air flow. These manual models have a button on it that turn on the heating element to vaporize the nicotine solution.

You want to know if the cigarette is working without having to check it. A little light on the end of it will light up when it is working properly. They are available in numerous colors.

The mouthpiece of the product is disposable. Inside the mouthpiece is a cup made of plastic that holds a material that holds the nicotine solution that will be vaporized by the heating element. The proper term for the mouthpiece is cartridge. The cartridge holds the flavored nicotine solution. When the nicotine solution has been used up from vaporization, then you can either buy a new cartridge, or refill the one you have.

The nicotine solutions for use by these cigarettes are sold separately from the devices themselves. They are commonly called e-nicotine, or even e-juice. They also come in different concentrations of nicotine for those who require or desire more or less nicotine in their device.

The device that vaporizes the nicotine solution is called a atomizer. This atomizer is the heating element itself. They cannot be used indefinitely and do have a life of about one month on the average and are one of the major expenses when using this type of product.

The e-cigarette is an alternative method of nicotine induction into the body and an alternative to normal cigarettes that produce second hand smoke.
