Dubbed best Latin salsa artist of all time, Marc Antony is a charismatic Pureto-Rican American singer and songwriter. Early Years

Marc Antony was born in New York City on November 16, 1969. His father Felipe Muniz was a part time musician apart from serving as hospital luncheon table. His parents were of Pureto Rican origin and named him after a Mexican singer Marco Antinio Muniz.

Antony began his professional career as a session vocalist for Underground New York house music acts. He released his debut album in 1988. It was titled Rebel.

Stardom

Success came for Antinio when he decided to take Latin salsa music. Todo A Su Tiempo (1995, Contra la Corriente (1997) are two his most famous salsa music albums. both went on to become chartbuster.

Antony is recipient of various awards and has earned worldwide recognition for his unique style. Anthony was conferred on with Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Chair's Award and CHCI Chair's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009.

Anthony, a diehard football fan, also owns a small percentage of shares in Miami Dolphins NFL team.
