Embroidery is one of the heritages in India, which is being done as a business in India

. It has been carried by our ancestors, who used to do embroidery work from several years and they had delivered their art to their children. Embroidery was being done in mainly small cities or villages. It is being done on various kinds of garments like sarees, kurtas, shirts, ladies suits, Boys suits and many more. Mainly nowadays the embroidery work is being done on sari and ladies suits, ladies use to like embroidery work very much and they are fond of embroidery very much, they love to wear sarees with embroidery work done. Embroidery Saree is very much in these days in India, embroidery is being done mainly by two types by hand and by machine. Mostly embroidery done by hand is mainly preferred by the ladies as compared to the one done by machines, also the handmade embroidery is expensive then the embroidery done by machines. These days huge industries have been set up for the production of sarees, they use to make sari from different types of cloth material like cotton, silk, crape, semi crape and many others, after the sari has been made then the embroidery work is done by the company. Its benefit is that it costs very cheaper to the company and also the embroidery work is done very fast as compared to the hand embroidery. But those who are real embroidery lovers they mostly prefer hand done embroidery and use to wear Hand Embroidery Saree.

Sari is the most traditional and cultured dress of India. In different parts or states of India there are different styles of wearing a sari. The ladies use to wear sarees in different styles as according to their traditions. The embroidery work which is done in India generates huge revenue on annual basis. The industries which used to do embroidery work generate huge employment opportunities for the local citizens. There is exactly different kind of embroidery work done on the garments like chicken embroidery which is an origin of Lucknow, then we have Jaipuri embroidery which is very much famous and many other styles of embroideries are present in the country.

The business of Embroidery Saree is growing at a very fast rate in India, although people in India nowadays are switching towards western dressing style, but still huge part of the population is still present in the country who only wears our traditional clothes. So still a huge population part of females wear sarees and due to which Embroidery Saree business is having its roots tough in the market. In almost every city of the country Sari showrooms are there where ladies can easily go and buy a sari. In malls also people use to open a shop of sari having different styles of sarees. There are even brands in Sarees which have established their chains and they use to give their franchises in different cities for opening a shop. Many of the high profile designers use design very costly sarees exclusively for brides. Now everything is going online and also there are many websites of online shopping where you can choose a sari by seeing the photograph of the sari and order that.
