And some of us will certainly bond strongly with them, which will, in the end, ultimately lead to terrible disappointment and loneliness in many cases of human-android attachments. But perhaps this danger will be buffered by the fact that androids will certainly be owned and not free; you'd have to buy one though I suppose one clever enough could 'pirate' one.
