Emu industry is fastest growing business in india and reason for the fast growth

its popular among aggricultre,farming community and there are around 2 lack breeder birds in India and its numbers are expected to double very year.

This industry can be classified into two parts, first part is rearing birds which is farming and second most complex part is emu slaughtering, marketing emu oil and creating value for its products.

The industry almost started in india before 10 years but still there is very less number of peoples focusing on part II of industry which is birds slaughtering and because of this industry may lose it popularity or momentum in its growth in india.

In emu farming around billions of dollars are already invested by farmers in India and there are more that 10000 farms are there and their future is now depends on slaughtering, creating value for its meat, oil products.

India meat exporters are already started to export emu meat and emu meat products across globe but still the export quantity needs to be increased and to increase it requires new emu slaughtering house need to be constructed in India and at least around a lack birds need to planned for slaughtering every year

There other major factor in this industry is emu fat and the processing fat into oil are little bit complex technology and profit in emu industry mainly depends on fat processing, oil marketing and emu oil has already lots of demand across globe but before focusing on global demand, fat needs to processed into clear, quality emu oil and there are many companies started to provide emu oil processing technology at better cost and this technology needs to be used by existing farms to process their emu oil.

Existing farms should focus on slaughtering, oil processing and they need to create awareness about processing its fat and they needs to create value for emu products which wil in turn increase the market for emu birds and emu farming.

In India, most banks are offering loans and nabard providing subsidy under poultry venture capital and existing farms to set up breeding farms and emu processing units they should make use loans and subsidies.

Even though there are billions of dollars invested in farming and future of emu farming now depends only on slaughtering and hope we expect more investors will get into slaughtering and only this can save emu industry India
