Doing this for a few minutes can help to control the anxiety that you are feeling and this can be a help for some people. There are a lot of people that will still have problems with their anxiety though even after trying these deep breathing methods.

2. Physical exercise. When you exercise, the brain will release feel good chemicals that can help to decrease the frequency with which you face an anxiety attack. Having yourself on a regular routine of exercise can be very helpful to control panic attacks, although it is not always beneficial for all people.

3. Getting rid of stimulants. People that tend to have more anxiety and panic attacks than others usually should watch out and cut down on the amount of stimulants that they take in. Caffeine and nicotine can be a major source of anxiety and it can also help to make the panic episode feel worse. Although it might be hard, you want to try and cut down on any stimulants that you are taking into your body.
