2)Enceinte: These are the huge wall structures in the form of concentric circles that enclose the schloss. The purpose of this enceinte was to protect the building from the enemies. This is why, these used to be called as defensive walls or curtain walls, but now these huge walls enhances the beauty of these buildings.

The fortified structures converted into hotels consists of en suite rooms having modern interiors and top class facilities. Some hotels retain the old features of the castle rooms, while in others, these have been replaced with some modern interiors. The old bathrooms of the schloss have been replaced with the classy spa bathrooms and large dinning halls with a superbly decadent restaurant, serving a comprehensive menu of delectable meals, these converted hotels offer an excellent picturesque spots.
