Redwood trees are nearly 1000 year old that has reached heights of 260 feet tall. Due to its massive shade, wildlife isnt abundant here. You can see deer, chipmunks, newts and various birds. Youll also see other plants indigenous to the area. As you reach the entrance of Muir woods, there will be a road which will take you to Muir beach.
