Bourg St. Maurice is a commune in the south-eastern France. A commune can be described

Bourg St. Maurice is located in the Rh'ne-Alpes region. It is the largest town in the Tarentaise Valley which is located in the French Alps. It is locally known as Bourge. This region is the part of Paradiski ski area which has 400+ km. of slopes and 141 lifts to carry people.

The nearest skiing resort is in Tignes which is about 27 km. from Bourg St. Maurice. However due to global warming and other factors, it is now remains closed at particular times of the year.
