A kiva fireplace is constructed of adobe brick. It radiates heat all around the area that it is placed in, and stores the heat well inside. As far as the designs, there is a western look, a more southwestern look, and if the like the rougher, rustic motif, that is available, as well. Outdoors it can be built under a protective overhang, or out in the open. Wherever you decide to place it, it will add a wonderful ambiance to your home.
