Environment Friendly Rugs

Rugs came from the nature thus it is environment friendly

. Its raw material came from wool, nylon and fabrics that are all natural. This has been prevalent during the early times of rug manufacturing. Although in this new generation, machines are widely used and some rugs have been added with synthetic materials which makes it toxic sometimes.

We are aware that our environment has been suffering a lot of catastrophes and calamities and we can't put the blame on any one else nut ourselves because whether we admit it or not we have somehow gave our share to what is happening around us. Through this we have the sole responsibility of making our world better. We may not be able to bring back the good old times, where we perfectly live in a clean and green world. But at least we can alleviate all the sufferings our world has. Our nature has given as much and it's about time that we pay off.

There are several ways that we can help our environment, it does not require us to do big things for a change to occur because with our little efforts combined will indeed create a bigger impact than what we expected it to be. We can simply start by throwing our trashes on the bin, picking up pieces of trash scattered on the floor, saving up electricity and water. Planting more trees can indeed prevent soil erosion and it can provide us shade on the rainy season. More importantly plants absorb water and with this it prevents flooding during heavy rain.

We also need to put a greater emphasis on illegal logging for it doesn't only hurt Mother Nature but it affects us most. There will be lesser source of food in the forest for the animals, by cutting these trees down you are also getting rid of the animals' shelter. Furthermore, we are the ones who will suffer more. For instance there will be no more trees to protect us from flood.

In relation to saving our environment, rug has also its share of protecting our world aside from protecting the floor alone. And we have a big role to play in making this possible, because there are some rugs which contains volatile organic compounds. If we are not familiar of what volatile organic compound is we might think that it not harmful since its organic but it's actually misleading us because this compound which is emitted in a form of gas causes several effects on our health such as allergies, headache and dizziness and if we inhale too much of this gases it might destroy our lungs creating more complicated diseases. We have to take care of ourselves as we take good care of our environment.

Using rugs that are made from natural materials does not only preserve or environment but we can get a lot of benefit as well. Not only that it safeguards us from harmful elements but it has a beautiful design that would look perfect on our shelter.
