Error 8100030d - You Can Easily Fix Windows Live Messenger Sign-Up Issue
We use different tools like, G-talk, Yahoo Messenger and MSN. So, users have multiple options to use. In this case they plan to shift their friends on different networking sites. Experts believe that error 8100030d occurs in live messenger while signing up is because of two major reasons. On of the reason is that there may be corrupted Contact Cache Store and in another case there may be Firewall software is installed that is blocking Live Messenger connection.

Always check your version of Live Messenger incase you are using Wireless 3G data card for internet connection. You may need service upgrade plan in that case.
If you have checked everything and its proper but you cannot sign in, then you have to follow the steps.
1. You need to make sure your msnmsgr.exe and wlcomm.exe are in work or shut down. You can easily do that trough task manager and then go for the process. Another way is simply press CTRL+ALT+DEL to go to the task manager and End process msnmsgr.exe and wlcomm.exe. Now sign-in
2. Changing your browser settings should be effective. You should Clear the "Hide extensions for the know file types"
3. If you are using windows Live Messenger 14 on Win7 then you need to perform following steps to remove Windows live contacts folder.
Simple browse for c:usersappDataLocalMicrosoft. Here you need to remove Windows Live Contacts folder. If you are using windows live messenger 15 on Window7 then you have to apply steps like
C:Users\AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindows LiveContacts
Here you need to find your email for example RegInOut@hotmail.com and remove it. Please do not remove other items in folder because they cannot be recovered.
4. Check you AVG firewall if installed on the machine, switch to Instant Messaging and uncheck Instant Messaging Protection. Confirm changes
5. Done
