Escape The General Election In Style

Its all pretty full on this politics malarkey thats for sure

, its not hard to see why people are confused about who to vote for or so jaded that theyve decided not to bother at all but we cant escape from the fact that deciding who runs our country is really important.

I agree with Nick fever swept the nation after the first televised debate, he was a dismal disappointment in the second debate and sounded a lot like a Tory sidekick in the third and final one but the other two didnt do much better. Gordon Brown was repetitive and uninspiring and he was forced to admit that it looked likely that the Conservatives would be in power after Mays General Election, but far from looking smug about his apparent victory (probably because that has been underwhelming to say the least), David Cameron held his concerned and sincere face firmly in place as he harped on about change and voting for change and change the record.

So when youve filled in the ever complicated postal vote and put envelope B into envelope C and so on, why not escape the General Election in style? Style doesnt have to mean great expense and cruising off to the Caribbean or trekking in the Himalayas, it can mean just investing in a bit of new luggage and jumping on the train to somewhere youve never been before or hopping around the country, leaving your new luggage all tucked up in storage lockers in train stations all over the country its very 007.

The advantage of escaping over the General Election is not just that you can avoid all the hype about the winning party or the ins and outs and ups and downs of a hung parliament (if it comes to that), it means that youll probably be the only ones going away then and things will be great value for money. Just as Spring is the perfect time to invest in summer clothing and luggage, so too are the weeks between the two May Bank Holidays the perfect time to a bag a great deal on UK breaks; it makes perfect sense.

Lockers and storage are hidden away at almost every major railway station in the UK so dont make the excuse that getting away is too much like hard work, if you swap cities in one day, you dont have to break your back doing it. Just as David Cameron and Gordon Brown harped on about whether or not the free bus passes for pensioners should, would, could remain, so were harping on about the ease of the UK holiday, in fact, it sounds like such an adventure we might just go and find some storage lockers right now and get exploring!
