It can be many things so make sure you read the fine print.

Where you go is really up to you. It all depends on what kind of places you like and how much you are willing to spend. It doesnt have to be a golf only vacation. If you choose a hotel near a big city or some beautiful neature you can make a combo. Play golf some days and take in local attracions other days. Discuss this with your travel agent and create a package that suits your wants and needs.

You also have the choice to bring your own golf clubs or rent on the spot. The ultimate scenario is of course if you can bring your own regular golf set. This way you will be playing with the clubs you are used to and like. If you decide to bring your regular golf set, you need to get some extra protection for them while checked in. I find that metal golf bags work best for this. Then theres also the option of foldable golf clubs. Foldable golf clubs are easy to travel with but they are not as good to play with as regular clubs. Which brings us to the last option, renting clubs. Renting clubs can be really nice since you get to travel light. However, rented golf clubs are better then foldable clubs, but they will never beat your regular golf set.
