Kurta and Kurtis- this is another kind of ethnic wear. Kurtas are long loose button down shirts that fall below or just above the knees of the wearer. They are complemented by matching churidars and salwars. They are worn in day-to-day life by many girls and ladies, as its comfortable and keeps you cool in summers. Its also a casual wear dress for many, as girls in their early twenties wish to experiment with their traditional look. They are often worn by girls in college and working ladies.

However, Kurtis on the other hand are short and fall above the thighs, generally. They are complemented by a pair of jeans or salwar.
