My Personal Review On Evenflo Tribute 5 Convertible Car Seat
Okay for the price I've only had this seat installed for about two weeks or so, but I'm thinking it might have been better with another. My daughter is 7 months old now, and she is a lot for his age, but weight-wise it is average. These are the cons of the venue that I have experienced so far:
1) The seat belt buckle in the center point is very nice and high strength, but the placement is awkward. When tightening the belt on the thigh and leg in the buckle, I have to slide your fingers below 2.3 to ensure that your skin does not get trapped between pieces of plastic. Parts that are literally on buckle ~ ~ his thighs, and find your bra when you close, if not prevent it.
2) The "rest position" is made possible by a turntable of plastic under the seat - you can choose the platform on the back or front. In my truck, neither position is very different in terms of angle of recline of the other. I have a rolled towel and placed under the front for now - I'll have to roll another, so keep your head on my daughter constantly falling forward when the siesta.
3) I do not care for the design of the instruction booklet. You have to look at three different places before they can fully understand how to adjust the entire system buckling around your child. It is impossible to understand, but is a pain.
This is what I like about the seat:
1) The fabric is great, and the stuffing is well done. In general, the product itself is labor quality.
2) Once you find a way to follow the instructions to adjust the seat belt system actually handling it pretty easy. Other products require a struggle to get anywhere belts - this seat is quite simple.
However, I probably would not buy this seat again, nor recommend it to others. But for the price, the product is habitable.
