Event Tickets to Die For: Three NBA Games that you shouldn't Miss
Whether you're a diehard NBA fan or a sports lover in general, the 2010 NBA season features some match ups that offer intensity, intrigue, and then some, making them great for a fun filled night of round ball with your nephew or that special someone who enjoys sports. Most NBA games features slams, blocks, and borderline trick shots that are best seen in person. But the following games feature a special element that makes them stand out from the rest and you need to find a site that sells event tickets for them, like ConcertKings.Com.
1. Los Angeles Lakers vs. Boston Celtics
On January 30, 2011, last years NBA Finals contenders face off for the first time since L.A. beat Boston in 7 games to claim their 16th title. A top NBA rivalry that dates back to the 50's, this year's Lakers/Celtics rivalry has some added animosity. For one, Shaq is playing for the Celtics, and he and Kobe are still enemies in all the ways that can make a game more interesting, from technical fouls to trash talking to potential fights. For another, Paul Pierce has a thing for declaring himself the best player in the NBA, and that honor supposedly belongs to Bryant. Yes, it's petty. But it's also another reason for the Lakers and Celtics to go at it with abandon, which is great if you're a fan.
2. Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
On December 2, 2010, the Heat, who have Lebron James, play the Cavaliers, who used to have James, and were pretty upset when he defected. Basketball fans across the nation were angry too, perceiving "the King's" move as cowardly and desperate, because the Heat already had all-stars Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. If you love to hate Lebron, or if you'd just love to see Clevelanders boo a world class egotist out of his former stadium, these games have animus written all over them. Cleveland doesn't have much of a team now that Lebron is gone. But you can bet they'll bring their A-game until the king has left the building. Purchase your event tickets for this one A.S.A.P.
3. Washington Wizards vs. Los Angeles Clippers
What's so special about the Wizards playing the Clippers? Two things: John Wall and Blake Griffin, who currently compete for this year's Rookie of the Year award. Wall is a lighting fast point guard with athleticism, length, a sick vertical leap, and floor skills that most NBA athletes lack. Griffin, a power forward with unbelievable speed and leaping ability for his height, is skilled bruiser that's changing what it means to be a forward in the NBA. The Wizards versus the Clippers doesn't have much of a ring to it, but players like Wall and Griffin are the reason people watch professional basketball in the first place: to see players that offer the highest level of play. Event tickets for this one won't be expensive, but the individual play could be the best you'll see.
