Event Wristbands Give People Permission To Have A Good Time
In my younger days I devoted a lot of my time to the enjoyment of music
. Still entertained by the sounds of bands I listened to in my youth I have given up on going to concerts like I did when I was in my late teens and early twenties. But every once I a while I do get out of the house and attend a live performance of a group or artist that captures my attention. Buying a ticket to the show I have found that most venues now make it easier to come and go from the stadium or hall by providing me with and everyone else in the audience with event wristbands. Attached to the individual with a stud that is almost impossible to break the plastic bands make it easy to tell who is allowed into which section of the arena and what their ticket price entitles them to.
A few years back I was a reunion concert for The Police and saw Sting for the third time in my life. Although the venue was open seating there was alcohol being served in the outdoor amphitheater. Making it easy to see who was over 21 and could purchase a beer from the concession stand the ticket takers would ID each person once and issue event wristbands to the people that chose to drink. By marking each person with a special ID tag the bartender was able to see who could legally buy alcohol and who was underage.
Nightclubs, theme parks and sports complexes are also in the habit of putting a wristband on the individuals that are passing through their doors. Making it easier for security guards and ushers to know where a person belongs and what is off limits to them the entertainment industry on the whole has adopted the use of wristbands to expedite the admission of patrons that are out having a good time. Because the bands and secure and have to be cut off to be removed they make the best control for preventing people from passing tickets to each other. The plastic bands that wrap around a person's wrist also add the convenience of not having to produce a ticket stub each time an individual leaves for the restroom or has to step outside of an arena to take a call or run an errand.
The readily identifiable event wristbands serve the purpose of making people that are permitted into special areas of a venue or who able to buy alcohol at an event easy to spot. While I only occasionally attend a concert to see Coldplay of Maroon 5 deliver a live cperformance the venues that are issuing the wristbands provide me with an experience that adds to my evening as I enjoy the sounds of my favorite artists.
