Shoe covers can be used for many purposes. They have a lot of advantages and also they are so cheap that everyone can afford them. Because they are so easy to wear, you wont notice that you have some extra weight on your foot. In the next few paragraphs I want to explain more in detail about Shoe Covers , their types, materials that are used for their production and most of all about their wide area of industries and places that can be applied.

Shoe covers, also called overshoes can be classified as Indoor and Outdoor, depending on the places that are suited for. Every shoe cover for indoor use generally is non-woven and it needs to be breathable. Medical over shoes are another type of indoor covers and according to the hospitals requirements for some areas for hygienic and sterilized environment they are a must. Slip resistant overshoes are type of covers that are using to avoid slipping on the floor besides keeping your environment sterilized. Another separation of shoe covers is based on its durability. The can be disposable (for single- time usage) or non-disposable (for multiple-time usage). Sport shoe covers are mostly used for sports that require expensive shoes to protect their surface from damaging. Bowling and cycling are sports that require that kind of foot equipment and these covers are very different from the other types of covers; also they are non-disposable.

Materials that are used for these covers are different. Cycling covers are made of Lycra to bring the needed flexibility. The covers that are used for bowling are made of nylon. Slip resistant covers can be produced by materials such as polypropylene or polyethylene and sometimes a combination of both; that combination is also known as olefin fiber. There are new brand of Shoe Covers called Davidda and they are made of latex. Commercial, recreational, health, hospitals, police, catering/kitchens, washing/cleaning, veterinary, real estate, tradesman, tourism, domestic, farms, gardening and sports are just a few of the plentiful applications you can made.
