The Evo's 4.3 inch touch screen adds a little weight and size to the handset. However, this shouldn't be a deterrent as the phone is still easy enough to manage and not too cumbersome. The big screen brings videos and web pages to life compared to its smaller counterparts. The larger screen allows you to view business documents in great detail. The Evo is navigated by a touch screen which is easier to manage than buttons. There is a kickstand in the back that allows you to prop the phone on a table for hands free video watching or video calling.
The Evo 4G includes 2 cameras. The rear facing camera is 8 megapixels which can shoot photographs and record video. The 1.3 megapixel front camera allows for video calls and taking photos of oneself. The 4G feature allows you to watch large videos on the go without slowing down other applications. You can share large documents in virtual meeting with people all over the globe. This Sprint HTC Android phone lets you take advantage of Sprint applications such as navigation and TV.
While this is a great phone, the two downsides are the battery life and 4G accessibility. The same applications that make the Evo great are a huge drain on the battery. You may get 12 hours of battery life with moderate usage. If you're planning extensive usage, always have a charger on hand. 4G is great if you have access but this technology is only available in limited markets at this time. Over time, more markets will have 4G availability but only a few will be able to take advantage of 4G at this time
