More Info on the blackswan character analysis

The blackswan character analysis has been designed to quickly build an accurate personality profile, based on the answers given to a series of 36 questions.

Certified by the British Psychological Society, it compares four different areas of personality; extravert versus introvert, sensing versus intuitive, thinking versus feeling, judging versus perceiving - allowing a profile to be built. Based on Jungian type and MBTI this test provides a result in minutes.

Understanding personalities at work.

We all bring our personalities to work, both the good points and the not so good points. Our personalities will determine what we are like at work, how we go about our work, the way we work with others and the types of work we will enjoy and do best.

Understanding people's personalities is incredibly helpful at work. Where people work closely together personality clashes' and conflict situations often occur but more often than not this is down to a lack of understanding. Comments such as "she never contributes", "he's not taking this seriously", "he's uncaring", "she's emotional" may be valid observations but more likely they are frustrations borne out of not understanding the value that different personalities and ways of thinking can bring to the team. Appreciating these differences allows for people to draw on each other where they are best and help where they are not so strong.

Understanding a person's personality also helps to be able to motivate them and use them where they are best. If a person is predisposed to focus on the detail, perhaps they are not the best person to create a new strategic vision. If they tend to be very values driven, they may consider it offensive if someone tries to motivate them with financial reward. It will also help to inform personal and team development as it will allude to strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes and different approaches to working relationships which will have important implications for
