Exclusive: An Update On Mba Entrance Exams Of 2010
We have come mid way in the MBA entrance exam season of this year
. The registrations of some of the major exams are already over, some are going to be over, and for some there is sufficient time. MBAUniverse.com brings to you an update report on the MBA exams of this year.
The MBA entrance exams whose registrations are already over are
CAT 2010, IIFT 2010 and IRMA 2010. CAT 2010 will be held in a 20 day window starting from Wednesday, October 27, 2010 Wednesday, November 24, 2010. IIFT and IRMA are paper pencil based tests and they will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2010 and Sunday, November 14, 2010 respectively.
Let us now have a look at those exams that are soon going to end their registration process. The MBA entrance exam registrations which will soon end are JMET 2011, FMS 2011 and NMAT 2011.
The registration for JMET 2011, the entrance exam for the IIT B-schools is ending today, i.e. Friday, October 8, 2010. The exam will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2010.
FMS 2011 will end the registration on next Friday, October 15, 2010. The exam for the admission to FMS will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2010.
The
NMAT 2011 registration will end on the same date as FMS 2011, October 15, 2010. But for NMAT 2011, thats not the end of it. If you cant manage to get yourself registered till the next Friday, there is a provision of extended registration of 15 more days. The late registration window starts from Saturday, October 16, 2010 and will go on till Sunday, October 31, 2010.
But remember, if you are applying in the late registration window for NMAT 2011, you will have to pay Rs. 2150. The registration fee otherwise is Rs. 1650. So in order to choose your preferred schedule and test center as well as to save money, it is advised that you register for NMAT within the next week itself.
Exams for which you sufficient time to register
The MBA entrance exams which still have some time left for registrations are XAT 2011, SNAP 2010, MICAT 2011, ATMA 2011, IBSAT 2010 and MAT December 2010.
XAT 2011, which will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2011, will end the registration on Tuesday, November 30, 2010.
SNAP 2010, the entrance exam for the institutes of the Symbiosis International University will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2010. The registration process will be over on Friday, November 26, 2010.
MICAT 2011, the entrance exam for Mudra Institute of Communication Ahmedabad (MICA) will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2010. The registration process will be over on Monday, January 24, 2011.
The exam date for ATMA 2011 is Sunday, December 19, 2010. The registration process will end on Friday, November 26, 2010.
IBSAT 2010, which is the entrance exam for ICFAI Business School will close the registration process on Wednesday, December 8, 2010. The exam will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2010.
The announcement for MAT December 2010, which is the MBA entrance exam organized by AIMA has been done recently. The exam will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2010 for the paper pencil based format and Saturday, December 11, 2010 onwards for the computer based test. The registration process is going on now. The last day to register is Monday, November 15, 2010.
