If it is your first time to performing a workout, you may find it difficult but eventually, this can become a part of your daily habits. It is a good idea to perform your training with a friend if you are not comfortable exercising alone. This way, you can motivate each other and your fitness training will be more enjoyable.
The days after that, eat fewer calories. Try to lower it by 15 - 25%. Don't starve yourself, just eat a little less. It may sound mundane, but if you aren't committed to doing this, you are going to be wasting your money buying the new latest and greatest non-working diet fad.
It is always fun to write down the activities that you did for a certain day. You can also write about the weight that you have lost already. This will help you keep your focus on your goal since you are tracking your activities effectively.
Keep an exercise journal or log. Write down how your exercise is making you feel each day. How is your exercise benefiting your mood, energy levels, quality of sleep, weight, and so on? Do some exercises have more significant effects than others? Chart your progress in regard to your specific goals.
It's crucial to record your successes as well. For example if it took you an hour to run 2 miles in the first week and then you noticed that in the second week its only taken you 45 minutes...that's progress, and undoubtedly you would have dropped some kilos to boot, so record that too.
Having a companion keeps you interested and helps motivate you to finish your workout routine. Also, it is helpful to set daily and weekly goals for yourself. This way, you won't forget why you're working so hard. Try to reach every goal you set and reward yourself with a massage or new clothes after.
Involve in any kind of activity you enjoy to do like spinning, swimming, dance classes or ice skating. Try to involve yourself in any activities you are engaged in. Incorporate new things with the previous routines since everyone get fed up of performing the same task again and again.
If you want to lose weight and make your workout more interesting, lift weights. The added muscle will help to burn more calories per day, and the ability to change your workout each and every time you come in will make the gym more interesting.
