This exercise had been known to add one to two inches in height. All you need is a horizontal bar that is high enough for you to hang freely. Hang on for at least 20 seconds, while keeping your body relaxed. Repeat this for at least three times.

The Dry Land Swim -- This stretching exercise is one you can do while lying flat on your stomach, with your arms stretched in front of you. Raise your right arm, together with your left leg, and hold for four seconds. Repeat with your left arm and right leg. Gradually lengthen the time you hold this position until you can do it for 20 seconds at a time.


The Pelvic Shift -- This stretching exercise targets your spine and will help lengthen it. Start by lying flat on your back, with your knees bent and your feet as close to your buttocks as possible. Then arch your back to raise your pelvis up. Hold this position for at least 20 seconds, working up to 30 seconds.
