Exeter is a top UK University, which combines world leading research at campuses in Exeter, Devon and Falmouth in Cornwall.

The University of Exeter has two campuses in the city both have the most wonderful parkland and the University is one of the most attractive and very inspiring places to study.

Exeter itself is also one of the four main sites of the University of Plymouth and The Peninsula Medical School which is a joint operation of the two universities and has one of its main sites in Exeter.

The Northott Theatre is located on the campus of the University and is one of relatively few provincial English theatres to maintain its own repertory company. The theatre is the successor of the former Theatre Royal, Exeter. An annual open air Shakespeare performance in the grounds of Rougemont Castle is well regarded nationally.

The University of Exeter has a strong reputation in the world of sport and the students regularly win national trophies in the inter-university sporting events.
