The history of management education is not so great in India

. Before India achieved independence nothing of this sought was found. This type of education started some 50 years back as part time education for working professionals and practicing executives. It was only after independence that our late Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Lal Nehru wished to establish educational institutions in India, which would be similar to Harvard and Oxford business schools and would come into sight as a place for nurturing knowledge excelling in technology and management of bright and talented minds. This growth has shown dynamic pattern, which again assures the continuous growth of nation on a broader prospective.
