Also dubbed the Garden of Maids", this 18th century masterpiece was designed by the monarch to serve as a leisure park for his beloved wife, away from the dealings of the royal court. Distinct for being one of the few green spaces in the desert state of Rajasthan, this lush parkland is famous for its marble artwork and water sprouting fountains. Complete with gleaming green lawns and four water pools, the garden also features elephants crafted from marble and chiselled kiosks. Other highlights at the venue include its picturesque lotus pool and the quaint bird fountains which add to the romantic atmosphere of the garden. Lined with brimming flower beds and iconic marble pavilions, this charming parkland now serves as a popular recreational point for Udaipurs resident population.

Home to an idyllic rose garden with over a hundred varieties of the scented flowers, visitors should also note that the fountains at Saheliyon Ki Bari which are located along its main reservoir were specially imported from Britain. Four black marble stalls complete the corners while a white marble kiosk is located at the heart of the major reservoir. Placed on top of the kiosks, the fountains themselves take the shape of birds ascending towards the sky from the water with their beaks sprinkling beads of water which resemble raindrops. Visitors must also drop in on the museum on-site where historic items that belonged to the royal household are displayed. Age old photographs and relics from Rajasthans royal dynasties are found at this well-maintained museum, whose collection is as expansive as the garden itself.
