Before stepping out, first prepare all things which will be used in cleaning ones own car. So what are these things? Things which are usually used in car washing include: 2 buckets of water (one mixed with cleaning agent), towels or a shammy cloth, sponge, hoses (a pressure washer hose can also be used), and cleaning agents.

Step 2: Place your car on shaded areas

This is one important step that many car owners normally forget. Placing ones car in a shaded area allows them to minimize the number of water droplets drying to fast resulting in water smudges on the paint. Also, dont place your car under a tree, so as to avoid all falling debris.

Step 3: Hose off dirt

By using a hose or a pressure washer hose, wash off excess dirt which can be removed by water. If youre using a pressure washer hose, make sure to put it on low pressure so as to avoid any damages on the pain.

Step4: Clean your car section by section

After hosing off excess dirt, its time to really clean your car with soap and water. To do this, most car owners would just wash off every part they can reach. However, many professional car owners would normally apply a section by section cleaning (from the hood to the back of the car, and then to its wheels). This allows its owners to clean every inch in their car.

Many car owners also suggest to keep watering their car to prevent it from drying. This is to avoid water droplet stains on the paint.

Step 5: Dry off car with towel

After cleaning every inch of the car, its time to dry it using a towel. Other than a towel, many expert car owners would suggest using a shammy towel.
