Something touched a nerve in me about this little dog and I could not get him off my mind. I already had a dog and had not been thinking of obtaining another. My little dog came from a difficult background and suffers from a nervous disorder.

Over the next month I kept visiting this dog and found I was very connected to him. I knew I had to do something as he had been in this pet shop for over a year so I finally purchased him and took him home to meet Chino my other dog. It was remarkable how they bonded so quickly and acted as if they had known each other for years. Their soul connection was blindingly obvious. The day Benji joined the family I knew he was right where he was supposed to be.

My normally practical nature, which would have made me, think twice about purchasing this little dog was completely flung out the window. I am so glad that it happened the way it did because Benji like a missing puzzle piece has completed the circle I call family.

I realized that by trusting that feeling or sixth sense in myself I had orchestrated the return of a long lost friend. As one of my gifts is clairsentience I became aware that I could no longer be complacent with what I had been given. What a missed opportunity young Benji would have been if I had chosen to walk on by.

We are given these gifts for a reason as a singer or a writer is given theirs. To not take the gift graciously is to deny part of your purpose for being here.
