Student life consists of not only classes, test papers, exams and so on. Surely, students have free time, and all of them wish to spend it with use for mind and body. Thus, the time may be spent for self-education in a library, or for sport activity. In fact, the variants are numerous, and everyone selects an activity in accordance with his or her interests and opportunities. The choice is restricted only by fantasy of the students. How to Choose the Proper Variant First, before making the final choice, try to find out all the possible variants, and pay particular attention to those which are offered by your college or university. Some colleges provide privileges for those students who attend sport sections, and defend the sport honor of the college or university on competitions. The activity may be associated with the research work in laboratories, or creative works in studios. Students often arrange theatrical studios or humoristic teams. Depending on your own interests and the opportunities that will be opened, any activity may be regarded from the perspectives of education or leisure time. Students often participate in social movements, aimed at achieving various aims. These are as follows: Anti tobacco / alcohol / drug campaign Anti abortion campaign Charity for the good of homeless people, for people with tumor, for orphans etc. Independently on the selected activity, the only thing you should consider is that this activity should not create barriers for effective education, as you will not be able to enjoy your beloved activity if you are expelled from the university. Finally, be prepared for the unpredictable situations, and do not get involved into illegal activities and extremist groups which base their activity on racial, religious gender, ethnic and any other discrimination.
