Eye Creams And Their Counterparts.
One the first thing we notice on a person, more often than not is their eyes
. Whether they be bright and beautiful, or wrinkled, and apparent that the years have done what they do best. As we get older our body's internal functions change and we are no longer able to produce enough of the essential compounds and proteins we need to keep our bodies looking and feeling young. Collagen is the compound that makes our skin full and smooth, and with time effectively halting the producing of collagen our skin becomes wrinkled, especially around the eyes, lips, and neck, as skin is thinner in these areas and is more susceptible to damage. Many people try to fight of aging with costly surgeries and dangerous injections, but the truth is that most over the counter wrinkle creams work better in the long run for quite a few reasons.
First off, any surgical procedure isn't going to come cheap. They can range from $1,000 to $5,000, and may require several sessions. You can buy many, many jars of even the most expensive eye gel for the cost of one eye lift surgery. Injections are another procedure that in my, and many others opinion are dangerous and borderline ridiculous. Botulinum toxin or Botox is the most toxic substance known to mankind and in small doses is injected into the skin to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Even if done by a professional, several complications and side effects can occur. The formation of granulomas or lumps under the skin can form at the injection site. Other adverse effects of Botox are: headache, breathing problems, facial paralysis, muscle weakness, pneumonia, speech disorders, and due to its ability to spread away from the injection site, there have been some deaths.
Another downside to surgeries and injections is the recovery time. Most procedures will require ten to fourteen days to recover, and unless you're one of those fortunate people who doesnt' have to work or can afford to take two weeks off just to look a little younger than I guess, go ahead, but don't forget about the fact that any surgical procedure is going to leave you in pain as soon as the anesthesia wears off, so painkillers may be required (which are bad for the body too) to take some of the edge off. After an eye procedure contacts cannot be worn for at least five days and sunglasses must be worn constantly.
Now, I'm not saying that any and all eye creams are going wipe ten years off your face, in fact many eye creams are not to be trusted, but with the right information and a little research you can be one your way to finding a safe, painless, and non time consuming way to get rid of crows feet and dark circles. One big thing to look at when looking at eye creams is to make sure that it is made up of all natural ingredients, and free of any synthesized chemicals or fragrances that can cause allergic reactions or irritating side effects. Ingredients like Aloe, Matrixyl, Shea Butter, Chamomile, and Eyeliss are all fantastic main ingredients that are bursting onto the skin care scene and are showing tremendous promise in treating wrinkles and other signs of aging. Don't leave any stone unturned and make sure that youre getting a quality product. Read customer reviews, search high and low for all the studies on any products main ingredients. All natural eye creams have proven to be light enough even for the most sensitive skin but strong enough to start making the skin look and feel young and nourished.
Taking the anti aging fight to the surgical level seems to be the only way out for a lot of people, the truth is that with some knowledge and research you can find hundreds of all natural eye creams and gels, and even home remedies that work just as good (and definitely safer) than any eye lift surgery or Botox injection. Maybe a wrinkle cream won't completely erase everything, but the question you have to ask yourself is getting cut open or having the most toxic substance known to man worth getting rid of a few wrinkles? I certainly don't think so.
