On average the f-22 raptor cost around $220 million dollars, and one has just went down in Anchorage, Alaska. However, that is not the problem, the problem is the missing pilot who crash landed the f 22 raptor about 100 miles north of Anchroage, Alaska.

The f 22 raptor went missing on Novermber 16th, 2010. The plane was later found on November 17th, 2010 north of Anchroage with the conditions of the pilot unknown. The main reason the pilots condition is unknown is because of the unability to land and check out the crash site. Authorities believe that if he did not eject in time that the pilot's life would have been taken by the impact of the crash. Overnight a C-130 plane along with helicopters have been searching through the night for signs of a surviving pilot, nothing has been found.

The airplane was part of a squad "Rocky One" and "Rocky Three". "Rocky Three" was the f22 that went missing and "Rocky One" was the one to immediatly report the missing airplane. No reports or interviews with the pilot of "Rocky One" have bene made public.

Some questions to ask yourself: What would you do if you were in an airplane that was going down 100 miles from the closest town in the middle of the freezing cold state of Alaska? What if you did survice, would you know where to go, or how to draw attention to yourself for possible rescue?
