FULFILLING YOUR MINISTERIAL CALL (Mentoring Series)

FULFILLING YOUR MINISTERIAL CALL (Mentoring Series)

By the grace of God, I have received burden to mentor and follow-up young minister the Lord would be directing my way in this season of year 2011 in the area of the fulfillment of their calls and ministry. I have received so much calls and text messages asking questions on how to fulfill their ministry or in answering a call. So as God will be helping me, I will be devoting some of my time and resources to help in this area in Jesus' name.

In doing this, the most important thing here is for us to establish the first thing that you are CALLED, that's answering the question "AM I CALLED". I have preached and written summarized e-sermons in this area that can/or would help. And like I always state it in my messages: you don't receive a call out of a burning desire or a pressing demand. A desire doesn't equal to a call. According to Colossians 4:17, Act 20:24, 1Timothy 1:12, 2Timothy 4:5, it all stated "to the ministry have received of the Lord to the ministry that was delivered to me of the Lord". This shows that a ministry is received by a divine instruction. God does the setting and the calling into ministry. The call and the setting of a person into ministry is not by man or out of his own desire to have or come into the ministry. You don't desire a Call.

Remember that you don't receive a Ministry but you receive a Call. You don't have a ministry without a call, but there is a ministry with a call. A ministry doesn't not equal to building a church or making you a Pastor or Apostle. (For further understand read my other e-sermons or contact me).

So, if the question "Am I Called" can be answered with a divine assurance, then we can move from here to its fulfillment. According to Matthew 14: 28-29: "And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water; So Jesus said, come". Peter walked on water by divine instruction and commandment. That actually defines a Call. A lot of Ministers today are walking or running ministerial call by self instruction or desire commandment. There is a divine backing that follows every divine Call. Also in Matthew 14: 30: The Bible says "when he saw the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, Lord! Save me and immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him"

Amen! This can only happen when you are going by instruction. Assuming Peter was to walk on the water by himself, who will he call upon? Probably Jesus would have said "I send you" or "who instructed you". So the call of Peter to walk on the water has a divine backing; that was why he can call on Jesus when a problem arises.

Men of God, if you go into ministry by self-instruction or self-command, who will you call upon when problem arises? A lot of Ministers are having problem in ministry today because NOBODY call them into it, there is no backing for them. Can I ask you who is backing you in your ministry? Your Pastor who perceive a call on you? A prophet who prophecy on you, that you have a ministry? Or the Man of God that lays hands on you? Hear me; only God that does the settings and the calling, men are mere instrument used by God. Let no man call you into ministry but let it be a divine instruction by God which can be through the hands of men.

Having said these let me move ahead into what I have for you. If you need me to mentor you or follow you up in the area of your call for young ministers, can you answer the following questions and send them back to me by email in regard of your calling:

What is the how of your ministry?

The when of your ministry?

The whom of your ministry?

The where of your ministry?

Let it be to your notice that, if you can't answer the above questions, then you don't have a ministry yet. Go back to God for clarity.

You can read my article on "Young Minister Ask these, before going into ministry" for better understanding. The utmost of every ministerial call is in its fulfillment. Praise the Lord.

When I received your answers to the above questions, I will prayerfully follow you.
