Facebok, Facbook and Faceboook!
There are so many funny stories related to Facebook user errors, some of them are usual while others are not, but the common thing between all of them is that they are all funny!
Let's start with those guys who make queries targeting the keyword "Facebook" in search engines like Google, it is so weird to know that about 5 million users type Facebook incorrectly in search boxes every month, and it is even stranger to find that they almost type them with the same mistakes where the common misspelled "Facebook" mistakes are either "Facebok" or "Facbook" or "Faceboook"!
Now lets see some real funny stories about Facebook.
Our first story happened in Fayetteville, AK - University of Arkansas sophomore where Humphrey Bailey left his Facebook open on his computer in his frat house bedroom for nearly three hours yesterday without sabotage from his fraternity brothers. Bailey, an Alpha Gamma Rho, got back to find his Facebook unchanged, Bailey said: "I went off to class and remembered I left my Facebook open just as it was started. I was worried my brothers would trash my page to embarrass me. Luckily, none of them noticed"
Despite Bailey leaving his room open and the computer being in plain sight, none of his brothers wrote a nasty status update, signed him up for embarrassing groups nor changed his profile picture to some porno thing.
Our next story happened to a woman from New York has been forbidden from owning a Facebook and a MySpace account because she has been advised by moderators that she is simply 'too ugly' to be let anywhere near the web.
Rita Cena is upset. "I filled out my profile and put up some personal details. It was when I put a photo that things went wrong."
Our next story happened to Ron Paul who set himself up to be the second U.S. President with a Facebook account. Of course the probability of him becoming the next President is about as good as President Bush's probability to serve another term, which seems about as likely as Bush having a friend on Facebook.
Few days ago, Bush became the first U.S. President to join Facebook. He still has yet to receive a friend despite the fact that he has sent many requests.
"I wish other foreign leaders would sign up," Bush told reporters. "That way we can stay in touch better. I guess the American people are scared to be my friend because I have so much power. Maybe in January of 09 I will get some friends."
Ron Paul was keen to set up his own Facebook account after hearing that President Bush had his own. But he didn't sign up to chat with Bush.
"Basically I set it up just so I could reject Bush's friend request," Paul said. "I knew that he would ask me to be his friend. But I don't want to be friends with him. That would be social suicide."
