Any serious internet marketer must learn how to market on Facebook to create leads for their mlm business.

Network marketers the world over jumped in, to market to all the thousands of Facebook users and all the other social networking sites. The problem with most of the Facebook marketing tips is that it is very in your face and can be very irritating to the social Facebook user.

Stop walking around like a billboard

Think about it. What is Facebook? It is no different to a club or a party. A place to meet new people.

In reality people use Facebook to connect with people that interest them. They do not care about your business and they do not want anyone to sell them business opportunities all the time. The truth is unless they know you, the will not care about you or about what you have to say. They choose to connect with people that they find interesting. Leaders attract followers to them naturally - this is normal human pshychology. A leader is different, adds value and stands out from the crowd.

Use Facebook to promote YOU as the leader you ARE and show the value you have to offer. But be real and be a real person. Let attraction marketing principles attract real prospects to you.

1. Set up your profile so that others know who you are and what you are about. Keep it brief , simple and real. Don't sell your business in your profile

3. Think about your business and your own unique selling proposition. Why would somebody join you in your business? The answer to this question is critical to your success. Make a 20 word summary of who you are and add it to your profile. Not knowing your strenghts and what you can offer may cost you your success.

4. Dont add friends if you do not intend to connect with them first and build a relationship with them.

5. If you have an active Twitter account where you tweet very actively, do not connect Twitter and Facebook. You will surely irritate and annoy your facebook friends if you have hundreds of status updates daily.


6. Search on Facebook for the prospects on your list and add them as friends. Make a point to connect with them. This will make your e-mail stand out from the 20 other e-mails they receive from other lists and will increase your e-mail reading rate.I open e-mails from friends first, dont you?
