Taj Mahal: Heralded as the 'epitome of eternal love', Taj Mahal is an awesome piece of Mughal architecture. This white marble monument was created by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Thanks to its architectural zeneith, this masterpiece is counted among one of the "Seven wonders of the modern world."

Qutub Minar: Another astonishing building in India is Qutub Minar. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a 73 m minaret, located at South Delhi. This highest stone tower of India was constructed by Qutub-ud-din Aibak in the year 1193 A.D as a "tower of victory".

Red Fort: Red Fort is one of the important monument of India, created by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. During its hey days, Red Fort has served as the residence of royal family. In the year 2007, this red sand stone monument was was titled as World Heritage Site. Every year on the occasion of 26th Januray and 15th August, Red fort becomes the centre of attraction. On both these days, President and Prime Minister of India address the entire nation from Red fort only.

City Palace: City Palace complex is another prime building in India. It showcases a fine blend of Rajputana and Mughal architecture. Sawai Jai Singh of Jaipur's royal family has created this wonderful monument. It houses various palaces like Mubarak Mahal, Maharani's palace, Diwan-e-am, Chandra Mahal etc. Chandra Mahal of City Palace still serves as a royal residence.

Hawa Mahal: Hawa Mahal or "Palace of wind" is another significant building in India. This monument of Jaipur's royal family is a intricately carved five storey honey-combed structure palace. It is a part of City Palace complex and mostly used by the ladies of the royal families to watch the colorful royal possessions and daily hustle and bustle of the city.
