The dinosaur of 74 years old was here. On time. At the Ecole National Du Theatre for his lecture- Marilyn and I left home with a clear idea about who he might be for us who left Haiti in our post adolescent age with so little knowledge about the Haitian literature. Frankly I discovered anthology secret in 2004 and the notion of spiralism in his book ultra vocal. I prepared a few questions to ask him regarding the spiralism and the impact the 60's international movements (visual art, architecture and music-) had on him at that time.

Franketienne presented the spiralism (slewed form) as a mathematical idiom. He was a mathematic teacher covering algebra, trigonometry physic quantum in colleges and universities down there- he said the spiralism has a link with the natural function of matters- he made quotation from the Greek mathematicians and philosophers from the late 19e century to illustrate his idea - that eased my rectitude and I asked him : Dear master, do you think your research on sequential movement of matters at the time you sorted it had a link with Xenakis research on primordial synergy between sound, nature, architecture and one's own body? I was thinking of atonal (Schoenberg) x (microtonal sensibility on Xenakis piece phithoprakta (1955-56). He used probability theory to sort the nature of sound

It might have a connection with all of that he argued but it has also three core values (L'intangible, l'impalpable et l'invisible) to which it sets its aesthetic This is the link.

I asked him how he felt at that time when Sol lewitt, Steve Reich and Robert Wilson was making money when all his research was unknown until the 90's. He became philosopher. He said he is now the most important writer, composer and painter of his time-
