Fantastic Places I've Seen Because Of Timeshare

Say the word 'timeshare' and you get different reactions from people. You don't have to look far to find some sort of scandal in the timeshare industry. I've seen those too. But for us, having a timeshare has been a great way for us to travel We've seen great places and enjoyed them in a way that we simply could not have otherwise done with our individual travel budget. It's taken our vacations to new realms . We have been able to stay in really nice places and that makes all the difference when you're on vacation .Let me share a few of our highlights from our timeshare vacations. Our all-time favorite destination is Kauai, Hawaii. This is one of the first places we went with our timeshare. The unit was a gorgeous 2-room villa right on the beach with 2 balconies that looked right at the mountains, the beach, the ocean and the amazing sunsets of Hawaii. It was just jaw dropping . The unit was fully equipped with 2 bathrooms and lots of space which made it easier staying with our kids. We were able to stock up on food and snacks (which is always good when you have kids) and store it in the kitchen. Our villa was right on the beach and we were able to sit out and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. And after a fun-filled day of seeing waterfalls, laying on the beach, exploring Hawaiian Villages it was nice to come home and have room for everyone to relax and not be on top of each other. And as a bonus, the timeshare resort has the largest pool in all of Hawaii. I'd have a hard time staying in a hotel room after that. The Caribbean Islands was another fantastic vacation. I strongly recommend the Caribbean for your next vacation. Soft sand beaches with warm crystal-clear water . How would you like to be served fresh fish and wine while sitting down at a romantic dinner and the table is on the BEACH? Just think, as you are being served, the ocean waves are crashing on the shore. And as good as you think that is, it's even better. The island of Aruba is a gorgeous island with lots to see and do but it is not a party place. It's a very laid-back feel. The resort feels like an oasis. The timeshare was so much larger than any hotel room and included a very comfortable hot tub. The villa we stayed in had a comfortable living room with all the amenities like TV, DVD player and stereo . It's like getting the keys to your rich Uncle Bob's place on the beach. Tell me the last hotel room you had that had a living room that wasn't also your bedroom? Have you ever vacationed on the Mediterranean? Last but not least was our trip to Marbella, Spain. I had never been to Europe before. I had friends who stayed in hostels or less expensive hotels and some of their stories were "interesting". That was not for me. But when I checked into the cost of higher quality hotels in Madrid I was flat-out alarmed at the prices. Staying in a timeshare allowed us to stay within our budget, stay in a gorgeous location and very upscale accommodations and for less than the cost of a hotel room. And if you do your research, you can trade your timeshare for free. The unit we stayed in had marble floors, a Jacuzzi tub, full kitchen, large screen TV and stereo system with ample space. What a way to experience Spain! Staying in timeshares has dramatically changed the way we vacation. Having more space and more amenities has spoiled us. Yet to this day when we say the word 'timeshare' we still get that look. It doesn't matter how you get there whether you use IntervalInternational.com, RCI.com or another company, staying in a timeshare on vacation is a great way to go. See you poolside!
