Faq On 4g Wimax Technology Vs. Blackberry

Mobile internet access technology has come a long way in the past several years

. It seems like only months ago that the only way to connect to the internet was at a desk, and that WiFi hotspots were the next big thing. Today, the restrictions of the WiFi hotspot are beginning to fade away in the United States in favor of next generation access technology. These types of communication networks and devices allow for high speed data transfers without internet caf access fees or monthly contracts with WiFi providers. Many customers now find themselves choosing between a smart phone technology like Blackberry, and new 4G mobile air card technology thats begun flooding the market in major cities across the United States.

Cant my Blackberry do anything that my computer can?

In many cases, yes. Its true that next-generation Blackberrys do offer internet functionality that rivals a computer. But in many cases, corporate programming and specialized functions are simply not designed for the blackberry. A great deal of networking, social media, and other online functions are still limited on smart phones. Its largely impossible to write larger documents or marketing copy with a Blackberry. And perhaps most importantly of all, the speed at which Blackberrys operate is tied to older 3G wireless technology that is now outdated and quite inefficient.

Which has more access options?

The Blackberry operates on a standard cell phone network with data access when its available. This is how the Blackberry is able to communicate with the servers that allow it to download emails and other information for the end user. The older 3G networks are widely available across the country, both in rural and urban areas. Today though, 4G networks are available in most major cities and suburban areas. This type of technology allows for true high-speed access (like DSL) without the need to step into a WiFi hotspot. It still has the same ease of use as a 3G network, and the 4G mobile air card is generally compatible with older network technology, greatly increasing the versatility of use.

Cant I use my Blackberry to allow my computer to access the Internet?

It is possible to tether the Blackberry to a computer using a cable or Bluetooth. In most cases though, this deactivates the voice technology, making it impossible to send of receive calls while online. This makes business difficult that might require the use of the internet while on the phone.

Is using a Blackberry easier than 4G wireless internet?

There are many people who are familiar with their Blackberrys and use them efficiently, however 4G wireless internet is nearly idiot proof. Simply pop in the mobile air card to the USB drive and thats it! Instant high speed internet access anywhere.
