The cheat day is something of an art in my opinion. The idea of rigid dieting 24/7, well it just isn't for me. Along with that, it plain just doesn't work. How many times have you tried to lose weight and end up plateau, or reaching an apparent weight that you just can get down past? I know i have, breaking my back with mindless cardio, eating nothing and getting no where. Sucks doesn't it?
So I think I've teased you enough, here it is. The cheat day is when you take one day, over a period of time and eat whatever and whenever you want. But wait, it's more then just freedom from the oppression of the evil diet. Cheat days actually promote rapid fat loss. Myself, I think that's pretty darn cool.
Basically you eat whatever you want, for a whole day during the dieting cycle. The cycle can be a week or less if you want! But this influx of carbs and fat that you have been starving yourself from, allows your metabolism to stay the same. And as we all know from before, you continue to burn fat off at the same rate, instead of plateauing a month into dieting.
On cheat days literally have no rules, go out have pizza, have burgers whatever! It's all good. Don't feel guilty! These foods are actually turning your body into the fat burning machine you want it to be.
There you have it. That my friends is the art of the cheat day. Simple? Yes. Effective? Even more so! Just give it a try and you believe the results. And as you munch down on that cheeseburger, remember who let you in on the best fat loss secret ever!
