Fatty Liver Disease Diet - When To Get Alarmed: Identifying Pain Caused By Fatty Liver Disease

Have you been experiencing strange and extreme abdominal pain

? Is your skin and are the whites on your eyes becoming yellowish? Have you been feeling nauseous and do you feel exhausted all the time? Be sensitive to the pain and other strange sensations because these might be symptoms of fatty liver disease, or hepatic steatosis, that you are going through.

Fatty liver disease is a liver disorder in which there is excessive fat build up in the liver. It's caused by any of the following: an excessive amount of alcohol, high-fat diet, obesity, diabetes milletus (type 2), metabolic disorders, and hypertension. Also called the silent disease due to the lack of symptoms or pain at its early stage, fatty liver disease is fairly difficult to diagnose if someone has fatty liver disease unless of course the individual goes through routine check-ups annually.

When fatty liver symptoms do reveal themselves, among them is abdominal pain and another one is discomfort in the lower right of the torso (the most usual symptoms that my patients make a complaint about). As these sorts of discomfort may seem usual, a few overlook them and think that they'll just go away. Should you experience these symptoms, you already need to be very sensitive and cautious to the kind of pain you're feeling.

Other symptoms that may be existing along with the pain include weakness, nausea, anorexia, tiredness, confusion, and jaundice (yellowing of the skin and sclerae - the white part of the eyes). Should you experience any of these pains and symptoms, you need to seek advice from your doctor so that you can undergo tests and tell earlier if you have fatty liver disease or not. The earlier the diagnosis, the better chance for you to enhance your condition and eliminate the pain.
