The Omega Seamaster watch has been in the industry since 65 years

. The quartz timepiece has a mechanical winding feature with bracelet and stainless steel case. It also feature a caseback carved with the logo of the brand and a screw-in crown. The watch is water resistant to 1200m and unidirectional bezel and phosphorescent hands. The dial other comes in silver, black or blue color with helium release valve, sapphire crystal and orange accents.

ChronometerIt is a label that is given to the timepiece that has undergone accuracy tests and received the certificate from the official body.

Screw-in crownIts a self-locking crown thats screwed in the tube of case. Being highly water resistant, it is mainly used as a divers watch.

However, there are some special features of each of these Seamaster models that are available for gents.

The Planet Ocean models have unidirectional bezel, which means the bezel can turn only in one single direction. It is mainly useful for the divers who are not being able to accidentally rotate it in the wrong way. Rotating in the wrong direction can cause them to misjudge their dive times. With this bezel, measuring elapsed time becomes easy.

The Planet Ocean models also have a helium escape valve where the decompression technology enables helium to escape from inner part of the timepiece when its worn for a certified use in the pressure chambers.

Ploprof 1200 M have a bi-directional bezel, which can be turned both clockwise and anti-clockwise. These bezels can be used for timing events, measuring the elapsed times or reading the third or second time zones.

Both the Aqua Terra Omega Seamaster models for gents come with a transparent case back. This feature makes it possible to see the movement that is inside the timepiece. The Aqua Terra Annual Calendar even comes with an annual calendar that recognizes months with dates. This calendar needs to be corrected manually once a year on the first day of March.
