Female Golf Figurines are popular, one could imagine

, because so many women play the game of golf. There are many collectible figurines in the female category ranging from collectible Lladro porcelain Golf Figures to fun toy Golf Figures.

I regard Golf Figures as figurines if they are under 12 inches in height. Golf Statues, conversely, are over 12 inches in height. This article is about figurines, not statues.

There are many Female Golf Figurines for sale as new items. They can be made in bronze castings, high quality resins, differently grained woods, metals and other materials. The bronze castings, of course, are the most expensive and the most costly to ship because of their extra weight.

Quite a few second hand Female Golf Figurines come onto the market, and there are generally a few of them for sale on the bigger online auction web sites.

Some of the better known female characters that have had figurines created based on them, include Betty Boop, and the Wii Pangya Golf Gashapon Figures (female). Most Female Golf Figurines manufactured, however, are of non-specific or unknown female characters.

A couple of internationally known artists, Guillermo Forchino, and David Frykmann, have been involved in producing Female Golf Figurines and each has created at least one of them with their own particular artistic interpretations.

You do not need to be a big company or a celebrated artist to create your own Female Golf Figurine. They can be created by anyone, especially if the desired material is wood. There are several very good books which show how to create Golf Figures in wood, then paint them, and display them.

Female Golf Figurines are not a large category of Golf Figures, but there are quite a few of them for sale second hand, and they are collectible, especially if they are old or made of bronze.

The wonderful thing about building your collection is that you grow with it. Your knowledge develops as the collection expands, and after a while you can even call yourself an expert!
