Feng Shui Clutter Clearing - How To Start
A home that has consistent clutter is a home of chaos in terms of energy
, and this is not acceptable by Feng Shui standards. Feng Shui clutter clearing is actually quite simple to accomplish as long as one knows how to get started and how to use these principles to keep going.
Having a cluttered home is somewhat energy draining every day that it just sits there in plain view. The area can also be a negative influence as it blocks positive energies that could otherwise bring positive events into the lives of those living in the home. Blocks to any type of energy flow can lead to blocks in possible opportunities for the people living in that home.
Sometimes it needs a big boost or a spurt of genuine anger in order to find enough motivation to totally clean up the home without any regrets for anything that was thrown out in the process. Sometimes the excuse of having no time to do it is simply that, an excuse.
The first place to start clearing would be in the bedroom, as we all tend to absorb a lot of influencing energies in the place where we are comfortable for rest and sleep. The area under the bed should be cleared and the closets must be cleaned of any items that are never used and just gathering dust inside.
These energies that flow around a positive bedroom atmosphere can be completely blocked if there are other presences to catch attention such as the television and exercise equipment. The tension that these items cause in a time of stress will simply add to the negative energy influences that are already present in a cluttered bedroom.
A place where health is given a lot of emphasis is the kitchen, so clutter here must never be allowed to sit for long otherwise the home may be inviting all sorts of diseases and disrupted energies that can affect the physical makeup of all the people living with you in the same home. The pots and pans must be cleaned out, along with the stove, and the drawers and other places that are for storage should be cleared out and reorganized to allow for positive flow.
The receiving area of a home is also very important as this is also the first place that energies enter a home in order to find their flow within your home. If the entrance door is blocked by potted plants or any other pieces of furniture, this may block the flow of energies. It is best to keep this clear as well as the hallway closet in order to allow for free flow of Chi.
The main thing to do when clearing out clutter is to always know what to throw out once and for all, as most clutter is usually made up of items that you just did not have the heart to throw out. Remember, by not letting go of items that are really of no use to you now simply means that you will never be able to move forward in your life to try out newer things and changes that can be a positive thing for your life.
Accumulating many items that can just add to the clutter in your home is never a good thing when it comes to feng shui and maintaining positive energy flow. Just as the front porch is cluttered, so will your life be cluttered with all sorts of baggage that you really cannot handle unless you begin to change and embrace throwing out the things that have been holding you back from significant growth.
