The master or main bedroom is probably the most important bedroom of the whole house
. Every thing from the harmony entrance to the finances of it are easily influenced by the main bedroom.
In feng shui there are 4 main factors or criteria you must think of with regard to the bedroom:
What shape does your bedroom have? Is it oval, square or rectangular?
Where is the bed located in the room?
What area of the home is it in? Is it located in the eastern, western, northern or southern part of your home?
What have you used for decoration in your bedroom?
All such criteria are playing a crucial role in the circulation of energy in the home, the bedroom included.
The form or the shape of your bedroom is essential in feng shui. A rectangular or square room is considered the best. If your bedroom is unusually shaped, you can utilize a room divider to help it maintain a more rectangular or square shape. Your bed should not face a door or protruding edge of any kind. These are both symbols of negative energy and may be hopeless to correct without moving the bed.
Its also wise to avoid having any overhead beams above your bed or windows behind the bed's headboard. Mirrors facing the bed also negatively impact the Chi of the area. The optimal place for the master bedroom is in the Northwest part of the house.
This might not always be practicable however and the second best option is the Southwest part. These two different areas represent the Patriarch and Matriarch respectably. Decorations are fundamental but you don't want to go crazy.
Depending on what your goals are, you can actually configure and energize your bedroom for marriage, romance, or relationships. It is also smart to avoid energizing your bedroom for luck in wealth and abundance.
